The seat was easy enough to install, although I had to take a little time to make sure it was actually centered on bowl rim. Back pads do not touch the rim. Hinge was a little creaky when raising and lowering seat and cover, so I shot some silicone into the hinge joints.
Since it is so shiny, it does show every smear, even oil from hands, the only drawback. Needs buffed frequently.

We bought two, one oak and one cherry. The cherry finish was lighter in the photo. Still, a great product with a great finish.

Seat arrived well packaged and in perfect shape. Installation was easy, and the finish is very nice. The hinge finish was pristine as well, unlike the C3B4R2-00 - Decorative Hinge Round Seats that we ordered with this one.

The seat feels a little harder that the others for some reason, perhaps its just my imagination, or that the seat itself has a little bit more of a cornered profile on the top that other seats. Anyway, as long as you don't camp out on it, you should be fine.
